Because Marketing Execs Wouldn't Lie

(click for full strip)

The funniest part about making this strip, is that every time I would think up some ridiculous drug name, I would do a quick google search and they would all be real prescription drugs.

Jessica complains that I never put her in any of the strips. Well, there you go.

Nariko

A Heavenly Sword pic done with Photoshop. I Kind of wish that I had drawn it less cartoony, but it was a bit of an experimental piece.

Expanding the Market Sucks

(click for full strip)

So Bri says that she doesn't want to get a Wii because of how trendy it is to have one right now. And I"m inclined to agree with her, but for one exception.

Nintendo obviously has a new audience in mind, and it's not really me. It's soccer/alpha moms, their families, and so-called casual gamer. And then there's all of the people that have to have the latest "it" thing", regardless of what "it" really is. The kind of people who bought one, just because it's fashionable, but haven't turned the damn thing on in three months.

Hmmm, maybe I'm just bitter because I couldn't find one to purchase if I wanted too, regardless of the fact that there's only one game for the system that I'd be even remotely interested in playing.

Surly Girl

So according to Esquire magazine, one of our local haunts, The Surly Girl Saloon, is one of the best bars in America.

What Esquire fails to mention is the fact that you get Fritos with almost every meal.

To say that it's a unique bar, would be a bit of an understatement.

Oh, and Andyman's was on the list too.

Tasty Taco

I think sometimes I have the most fun creating the world in which these characters live. This logo barely even makes an appearance in the next strip, yet it was by far the most enjoyable creative part of it.

I'm thinking about having shirts made.
